“Near Tarbert, Co. Kerry, Ireland” (Oil – 16 x 32) This is a larger version of the same view painted the next year at the same location in Ireland. A farmer would walk his cattle on the coastline before the tide came in. It has a very different feel from the first smaller version. A very different kind of day. I continued working on this painting refining areas in the studio careful not to loose the freshness of the moment.
